A Mess, acrylic on canvas, 100 x 100 cm, 2020
A Mess is my first large format painting (and it was very large). I was inspired by one of my smaller illustrations, and my interest in architecture, and drawing, and painting spaces. I like the idea of playing with perspectives, a bit of Escher (but not really), a bit of colorful confusion. I'm not sure if I'll make another one of these, but it was very satisfying to see it come to life.
